We are looking to recruit a talented Head of Fund Development to join our small passionate team. Working alongside our CEO you will use your existing skills, knowledge and contact base to secure core funding to enable the charity to further develop its outstanding portfolio of youth arts initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 year experience of fundraising in the charitable sector, demonstrable track record of personally devising and executing successful core funding campaigns, you will have raised £100K+ in the last financial year for arts/youth based initiatives. You will have an understanding of the challenges related to working in a small/medium size charity.
The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, knowledge of the arts and cultural sector landscape, an awareness of and ideally existing relationships with major stakeholders and grant making trusts within the arts and culture sector. You will be a courageous straight talker with great interpersonal skills.
